Our mission is to give ground-level artists an elevator pass to the music industry, while providing lovers of music unrestricted access to all floors.
There's a lot of undiscovered talent out there. We just want to enjoy & share good music - music that doesn't always make it to the airways or radio playlists.
It's our vision to bring people closer, through the discovery and enjoyment of new music. To enhance the way we listen to and share it amongst friends. Imagine a place where anyone, anytime may upload and share their most heartfelt tracks and have equal opportunity to be heard.
That's our goal.
Then you're in exactly the right place. Our non-descriminatory open admissions policy means that while we do accept music and video from contracted artists, we're just as willing to accept submissions from unsigned artists, buskers and aspiring musicians.
Artispot is a place where great music resides. We like to think of ourselves as a GPL streaming service. Open source and ready for sharing.
Just get in touch with one of our friendly artist relations specialists. We'll review your submission to make sure it meets with minimum standards and add your music to our ever growing catalogue.
A couple of things to note:
1. All track submissions must be comprised of work(s) original to the submitting artist. While we do accept music from EPs and/or mixtapes with sampled music, the aggregate composition submitted must be the sole intellectual property and/or demonstrably owned/produced by the (unsigned) artist. If you are a contracted artist, meaning that you have recording contract already in place with a label, please have your label contact us with your work(s).
2. All music track submissions must have the following fundamental ID3 tags populated with information relevant to the artist, album and song:
Track Title, Artist, Album, Track (Number), Year, Genre & Copyright
3. Album/Track submissions will not be included without accompanying high-resolution artwork/imagery. If you submit works without artwork/imagery, you may be contacted by one of our artist relations specialists to complete your submission.
Don't worry, while the ID3 requirements may seem stringent, populating the tags is easily accomplished with free software that can found be with a quick search engine query. Also, these tags help us to assign status to your work(s) and to know where to place them for maximum visibility - so you'll be sure to be heard. If you're having difficulties with any of the above, please feel free to reach out to our Artist Relations Department and someone will be quick to respond and work with you to get your music prepped for streaming from our platform.
We look forward to working to help you 'Get Spotted'.
Be seeing you soon!
